CONDITIONS OF HIRE
All items hired by Event Shack Ltd are hired on the following conditions.
ONCE BOOKING IS MADE, THE HIRER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY ONCE ITEMS ARE IN THEIR POSSESSION. It is recommended that you take out your own insurance from the time of delivery to the time of collection.
The property of Event Shack Ltd must be returned in the condition that they were received in. The property of Event Shack Ltd must always be handled with care. Unless agreed by Event Shack Ltd, all equipment is for indoor use only unless specified. All property of Event Shack Ltd must be locked away overnight. If stored in a locked marquee, please ensure that they are away from the sides to avoid water damage in the event of heavy rain.
CANCELLATION
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the hire of items.
Our items are unique and one of a kind, therefore once you have booked them, we can’t offer them to another client. Cancellation of a confirmed booking will incur a percentage fee of the invoice total.
Less than TWO months 50% of the balance
Less than ONE month 100% of the balance
PAYMENT
The balance is payable ONE month in advance of your event.
A security deposit is to be received prior to the event.
All shortages, damages and losses will be charged at FIVE times the hire value, so please take care of the hire items whilst they are in your possession.
Bank transfers are preferable, but a payment link is also an option, however, an additional charge will be added to cover the charges.

INSURANCE
1. Our insurance does not cover the hirer for any claim for damage, injury or loss to persons or equipment and we strongly recommend that hirers arrange their own insurance.
2. Hirers will be responsible for full repair or replacement costs for the hired equipment.
DELIVERY/SET UP
It is the customers responsibility to seek permission from the venue and to ensure that there is sufficient space at the venue. Once the item is set up, it can only be moved by a representative of Event Shack Ltd. It is also the customers responsibility to ensure there is a loading bay or equivalent at the venue to allow Event Shack Ltd to unload and reload the equipment.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Please be advised that when sweets are provided with the sweet cart, some food may contain or have traces of nuts or nut oils and they may also have been in contact with products and sweets containing nuts. Event Shack Ltd cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from any food allergies. Customers should ensure that young children are supervised at all times to avoid the risk of suffocation or choking from sweets, plastic sweet wrappers or plastic bags. Event Shack Ltd cannot be held responsible for safety issues which occur from the use of our equipment or consumption of our confectionery at your event.
COMPLAINTS
In the unlikely event of any dissatisfaction on your part, please inform Event Shack Ltd within 14 working days of your event taking place. We reserve the right to refuse compensation with any complaint received 14 working days after your event has taken place.
Making a booking with Event Shack Ltd denotes that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
